Sailing symbolizes continuous movement with the changes around you. You have to adjust your course again and again to the wind and waves. A sailor must be flexible and able to improvise. You make a plan in advance, but something unexpected often happens, so you still have to make adjustments. Sailing is just like (business) life itself.
Sailing is therefore the ideal company outing. You can learn a lot about life by going sailing. And much more important: It's fun too! Especially to do it together. On the water, people are often more open about what really concerns them than on shore. That remains fascinating. Could this be because we humans are 70% water ourselves?
There is a hospitable and very experienced skipper / qualified instructor. He shows you the most beautiful places in the Haarlem area, and can also teach you everything about sailing, knotting, navigating and other nautical matters.
The activity is of course somewhat weather sensitive. In windless weather and a wind forecast above 6 Bft, it is not possible to sail, and the activity will be moved. Automatic life jackets and rain gear are available at the site.
