Summer afterwork Legends Biotech
Enjoying summer in the green with the Legends of Biotech. Legend Biotech approached Funkey for the second time to organize their team event. They wanted to create an original afterwork experience for their employees. The goal was to foster a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where employees could chat, unwind, and enjoy a variety of fun activities.

The concept
The concept for this event was a cozy afterwork in a summery setting with accessible and casual activities. This was for 320 Legends at Gazon, a charming summer bar in Ghent, completely surrounded by greenery.

The activities
To keep the activities accessible, we chose Lawn Games and a Singalong: Employees could take part in various games such as pétanque, mini golf, cornhole, ping pong (with a twist 🏓), and Kubb. These games created a fun and competitive atmosphere where employees could play in teams against each other. To help employees connect, a Singalong was organized where everyone could sing along to popular songs, accompanied by a live band. Watch the video and discover the atmosphere a singalong can create!

Extra's and entertainment
In addition to the activities, various extras were added to complete the experience: There was a photobooth where employees could take funny and memorable photos with colleagues, equipped with fun props and backgrounds. A professional photographer was on hand to capture portrait and action shots of the activities. The all-around DJ set the right mood with a mix of summer and danceable hits, making sure everyone was dancing. The catering included a barbecue and dessert menu, along with a mocktail bar offering deliciously refreshing drinks. At the end of the event, everyone received a goodie bag to take home, filled with fun and useful goodies (Legend Biotech branded, of course 😉).
